Overview

We support children and families through education, hygiene, dignity essentials, disability support, and community outreach—aiming to alleviate suffering and protect children’s wellbeing.

Program: Education Support

  • School fees support

  • Scholastic materials and supplies

  • Support for children with disabilities: connecting them to appropriate schools/centers for continued care and learning

Program: Orphan & Vulnerable Child Support

Some children are left under guardians who struggle to care for them (e.g., elderly grandparents) or live in unsafe environments where abuse/neglect occurs. CPA provides support where possible to reduce suffering and keep children safe.

Program: Community & Family Support

Community outreach to schools and families, including psychosocial support and providing tangible essentials that improve the life of children and those around them.

Program: Hygiene & Health Campaigns

Campaign 1 (May 2020):
CPA visited St. Lukka Bambakintu Primary School in Kakindu, Busujju, Mitiyana District, providing personal hygiene items to some of the most needy children plus a hygiene talk.
Goal: A healthy generation of children.

Campaign 2 (Feb 2025):
CPA visited Hisaya Primary School

Program: Menstrual Hygiene & Health (Girls)

In Dec 2018, CPA provided reusable sanitary towels and soap to girls at Hisaya Primary School, choosing reusable options to reduce monthly costs for families.

Program: Every Child Deserves to Dress Well

Clothing distributions to children and young mothers:

  • Dec 2018: Kasanda District

  • Jan 2019: Bukomaga, Mitiyana District

  • Dec 2024: Mwera Tea Estate Village (children and some parents)

Program: Disability Support

In March 2020, CPA supported children at Noah’s Ark School of the Disabled (Entebbe) with items such as toilet paper, soap, books, and pampers. We are limited by funds but aim to expand this support.

Program: Special Visits (example story)

Nyibol Mary (July 2025): visited her grandmother’s home, where there is a struggle to cover food, education, physiotherapy, and other needs for her disabled granddaughter.
